Painted & textured shrink pots
What's a shrink pot? These pretty pots are made using hand tools and techniques which would have been familiar to the Vikings! The body of the pot shrinks onto the separate base. Each pot has an individual character as the body dries into natural shapes - then a bespoke lid is made. All wood used has been sourced form our own woodland - Grown in Britain.
These pots have alder wood bodies, a tooled finish inside, loose fitting ash lids and oak knobs. The bodies of the pot are textured with a hook knife and completed with a distressed milk paint finish. We use Danish Oil to make them look their best.
They're not water tight or air tight. Great way to hide bits and bobs or just look great. A little bit of Shropshire from our woodland to your home.
