From Our Woodland to Your Home

Picture

Perhaps you've heard of slow food? Well working wood in the green also requires patience,
accepting drying times as part of the process and trusting good,
wholesome things are worth waiting for.

The area we are coppicing in the winter months really does dictate what we can produce.
It all depends on the size of the trees, the species and what we are inspired to make.

Our stock changes all the time as we attend Farmers and Artisan markets,
events and country shows through the year.
I hope the images below give a flavour of what we do.

We've created an online shop of some of our woodenware. We also take commissions for bespoke items.
If you'd like to get in touch use our contact page.
We always value your feedback and will respond as quickly as we can.

These are examples of our products.
Take a look at the new 'Woodenware For Your Home' page for our online shop - a new development for us.

Postage & packing cost will depend on the size and weight of any purchase,  however we use a flat rate per product and add any significant difference to the item price.

Product Finishes

Some products are smooth and sanded but in most cases we like to see the tool marks
on our finished work.

We feel these facets and marks keep the item honest and add to their unique character.
Our bowls and cooking utensils are finished with pre-oxidised linseed oil. This gives a silky matt finish that will last. If they need
a pep-up, we advise use of grapeseed oil or sunflower oil. Put in on when the item is dry and wipe it off. It will be good to go.

Bark shrink pots, honey drizzlers and
rolling pins are left untreated.
Milk paints add a contemporary feel. They are food safe and traditional, made with slaked lime, pigment and the milk protein casein.

Textured shrink pots, furniture and garden products are treated with Danish Oil
